Last I've heard he made kickstarter to try and fund an original cartoon he was making on his own but instead used the money to pay for back surgery and gave back nothing to the last people stupid enough to still have any faith in him.
The sexual allegations are relatively new, with people (I'm pretty sure there was more than one person) only coming forward in the last couple years and over a decade after Ren and Stimpy ended but honestly with his track record nobody is surprised. Also keep in mind these girls were still in their teens when they worked with him which makes it even more gross.
