Why are western artist just generally... worse? Less interesting, less structured, more generic and all around skill delayed as compared to artists around the world? You can look at art on say, pixiv, and you can literally point out the western artists by skill level alone with 95% success rate. Does anyone have any theories as to why this is? Less passion for art, more of an attention hobby? Less skill building blocks due to simpler cartoons and lower expectation?
