>>3802206You can stop once you can do a close to 1:1 copy of a plate you know. If you're already doing them totally accurately and you've learned how to render smoothly from them, you can stop.
When I did mine from the actual plaster casts I worked on them once a week for 4 hours, for like 8 months per cast. You don't have to be doing only plates all the time dude, slow it down if you're getting tired. Work on something else even if it's a still life or something, your eyes and brain need a break from the plates so you can come back to them with fresh eyes.
