Want to recolor my drawings digitally, is it possible to get the job done properly with a mouse or should i invest into a drawing tab?

you can but its gonna hurt your wrist
but if you just want flat colors you can use the pen tool and selection lasso tool in phototshop

I did full color paintings with just a mouse, using the air brush and the marque tool. I had to originally bc I only had a mouse, now that I have a surface book I sometimes still use that method just to get a certain look. It can be fun :p
