>>3722567The shortcut menu lists gradient first and the fill tool second, so likely that's why the gradient is selected first with the hotkey. There's no way to switch that menu's order so it looks like you'll need to switch hotkeys to switch tools faster.

Instead of asking broad questions, try asking more precise questions when you are looking for opinions.
For example, are you purely an illustrator, concept artist, or do you do more comic based work? Mixed?
You never said anything about what you primarily use Sai for.
If you do comics you could ask things like: How intuitive are the panelling tools? Do you need to fight with them often? Do they actually save time when working on large projects? Is it worth switching from Sai with a secondary software for text to Clip Studio? Are feature in EX like the ability to export epub and kindle format worth the investment as a self published creator?
Or if you want a generalized question: Are the tools geared for comic making in Clip Studio worth taking the time to learn? Do you feel like they actually improved your workflow?
Illustrator based questions could be: How does the brush engine in Sai compare to that of CSP? Does the engine allow for tools to have a more natural feel? How well in comparison does the software handle your largest projects? How well does it handle importing files from external software?
I think you get the point; Ask questions that you need answers to.
And I guess since I've been an ass long enough: my opinion, as someone who does comics primarily but dabbles in animation, illustration, and 3D modeling, is that it's worth the investment due to it being able to handle multiple types of projects without having to purchase extra software. Sai for me is a one-trick pony. Good enough at what it does, but I need it to do more.
