How do you guys choose what to go by online?
I know the norm is first name + last name, but would it be weird to do first name + middle name?
What about usernames that don't have anything to do with your real name?

make it unique and memorable but not embarrassingly retarded if you're not going to use your name. just think, if you make it big people will be calling you by that name.

also, first+middle isn't weird, do what makes you comfortable.

look at zach galifinakis. he's got a fucked up name but people will go out of their way to remember it if it is worth it.

What's your market/demographics?

If your art is mainly appealing to normies, just do some variation on your name.

If you do very anime-styled art, pick a japanese name or word combination, it really does make people more likely to follow you, especially if you add some japanese in your profile too.

Otherwise you can try doing a combination of 2 separate things. Like animal + personality, ie SulkingLlama. Something slightly self deprecating gives off a more approachable feel.

For professional work always use your real name and then add something to make it original if you want.
If you dont want to use your name, do like i do and make dumb a pun by combining 2 things you like
