>>3176214Idk depends on how it's executed. Photo or in person. If in person there are better artists, black artists included, who could do a portrait in person that would come out better. A lot of Kehinde's work is really gaudy, I hope he just does a regular portrait of obama without all the fanfare, but then again why hire the guy if that's what you wanted.
Also if you guys weren't aware, Sargent and Zorn both did presidential portraits. This guy is a far cry from that, but a step above the really staid boring portraits done for the past couple presidents. I just hope it's not too eccentric. We don't need Obama riding a horse draped in red fabric wearing a durag and an OBAMA chain, which is basically what Kehinde does.
