>>2821730>>2821738Fuck off, Proko did all the Loomis, he even recommended it numerous times and his head construction is basically whole from Loomis even though Watt teaches Reilly.
Stop giving bad advice. Drawing from imagination is mainly about making good design decisions and communicating ideas. Good animation has fuckall to do with applying Loomis, you should have known better after seeing how beginners make dozens of those loopsided heads from "Fun with Pencil".
You know what is important with imagination drawing? Silhouettes. Line of action. Progressively stretching your drawings, exaggerating. Being used to experimentation and tinkering.
Seriously, you'd be better off copying a still from a film and then playing with it, adding characters to the copied reference, changing a pose of a character, seeing what works and what doesn't, mirroring pose, overlapping drawings etc.
Construction gives you a fuckall if you have no idea and don't know what you want to communicate. It places beginners in the rigid mindset. At some point it's a lot better to even doodle than to do what you suggest.
