>>3538157>You say "all sources" but you decided that some and not others are "obviously lying".
Honestly without even going into history or psychology or anything else, if you look at a personality type like Trump's and there aren't "danger badman" alarm bells going off in your head, you're a dang rube.
And I'm not saying that it's one side versus the other side. In fact I argue that the entire "dichotomy" concept is make believe. Trump is not "the right." He's a silly ass lunatic narcissist that's propped up by a messaging machine that has conditioned people to think that any open dissent means you're one of THEM. >You say Russians have vested interest in spreading their lies. I tentatively agree, but I'm not sure where you derive your trust in other sources from.
That's kind of just a media literacy thing. Journalistic ethics and professional integrity are real things that govern the conduct of reporters that to you are on "the other side."
But more practically, it's often about isolating the original source and seeing what the original reporting was. Plus the AP and Reuters are essentially just information gathering resources that drop the og beats that all the different outlets then spin to their own porpoises.>Just because one alternative is evil it doesn't necessarily follow that the other is good.
And again, the existence of other potentially "evil" sources doesn't justify trusting unambiguously "evil" ones. This is still all what we're talking about when we talk about "whataboutism." It's like you're a battered wife that never presses charges because they think it could be worse.>I doubt that, that's a very optimistic outlook on history and human nature.
You're trained to be cynical to justify why you support a party of corporate nihilists. >But you seem to incorrectly believe that I'm a Trump supporter?
no idea who you are hombre
