you have to open it up manually, for some reason they don't let you keep the circle always up.
>>4050716>DDR3 798MHz>Dual core 2.20GHz (no hyper threading)>GeForce 920Mjesus christ that system is so fucking outdated Passmark has it buried way below standard budget stuff.
everything has less than half the score of most modern budget components, the GeForce card has a score of 736 when last generations budget cards have a score of 6K. (GPU is barely used by CSP tho.)
https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.phpFuck Laptops, buy a tower as they give you more power for your money and you can upgrade parts when needed so over time its a better investment.
>>4050748favoring single core is more budget friendly as more cores cost more money.
>>4050742>CSP heavily relies on SINGLE CORE cpu performanceYep, using resource monitor it looks like it only uses 1 core for the heavy lifting during prolonged stress, for quicker tasks it will make a 2nd core spike before relying on 1. (most likely Multi Threading starting then stopping)
Playing back animation with an audio track will hit more cores but just barely.
Im using a Ryzen 1600 @ 3.2 (I could overclock to 3.8 though),
GeForce 1050Ti (need to upgrade cuz shit for gaming.)
16GB RAM 3200 CL16
and it only lags when I make the brush size ridiculously huge or make the Canvas Size really big like 3000x3000 with 600dpi even then it only lags when I use a really big brush size with a brush that mixes like the Gouache brush.
GPU is never hit even when using 3d models or playing back animation.
Ryzen 3000 series seems to have much better single core performance so it might be a better budget option.
