>>99954318I wouldn't consider myself a fag of either (though I love both characters) I just find the idea that Batman is more relatable than Superman pants on head retarded Batfaggotry, that his fans can't even allow meta concepts to not go in his favor.
>you still missed the pointYou can say this all you'd like but without actually explaining what you mean you just come off as an assmad batfaggot. Morrison puts it clear as day. Superman is an everyman character which inherently makes him more relatable than Batman who is an adolescent fantasy character (WHICH THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH)
>>99954300He explained it very clearly but I'll do it again because you're so fucking stupid. Superman does normal human things, he has a job, he grew up working hard on a farm, he has a cute girlfriend/wife that he met at work. Because the Clark portion of his character is so relatably human, it allows for symbolic human storytelling in the Superman side, his entire character can center around relatable human storytelling.
Batman lives like less than .00001% of the world lives in his personal life and had a childhood/adolescence that literally no one has ever had. He is a purely fictional character and yes he is more of a self insert fantasy than Superman because of these facts.
>>99954391I don't think he's shitting on Batman at all, he's just saying Superman is more relatable. Not being a relatable character is not a crime or a takedown, it's just character analysis mate. Fucking hack writers and shitty English teachers have convinced a generation that relatablity is the gold standard of character driven storytelling, Jesus.
