I thought the thinly veiled racism allegory was cool in Hotel Transylvania, even if I had seen it before in shows like 2003 Teen Titans or Rocko's Modern Life. Then they did it in Zootopia, and I was okay with it, even if it was heavy handed. Then I saw it in OK KO, and I started getting tired of it. Recently got into Star vs and they are playing the trope out for sooo long. I'm not even mad the trope exists, and I actually really liked the way it was handled in Mewnipendance Day, but they've stretched this out for so many episodes, to the point the show feels more like a soapbox for an issue that barely even exists anymore than an interesting cartoon. Am I alone on this one?
