Is there a specific term for when a character breaks the fourth wall specifically to speak to the artist or interact with the tools animating them, or is shown being drawn and animated? Like the classic Merrie Melodies short Duck Amuck?

I just find that most of the 4th wall breaking we see these days tends to be more verbal and less physical, which I don't find nearly as funny.
