>>94480796Yeah. The thing about SJW writers is that they tend to lift female characters to impossible standards and have male charcters be gutter trash.
So far, this isn't really shown.
I mean yeah sure in the episode the therapist talked Rick down, which no one has ever done, but Beth has been confirmed to be a horrible abusive person as well.
So there's no real bias and people are just looking for someone to blame, and have landed on the new writers.
That being said, I am kind of upset on how they are dealing with Rick himself and his current issues. in the first couple seasons he needs a sidekick even though he doesn't want to admit it. And the success of their adventures sometimes comes down to Morty or summers help, but lately it just seems like Rick is doing everything himself, without anyone's help which kind of ruins the shows dynamic.
And now they handle the family's issues is different as well. Before hand people would go an adventure or encounter something that forces them to change perspectives or reach their own conclusions, but now it consists of going to therapy/ dealing with their emotions and feelings head on, which isn't as good Imo.
I think as long as we don't encounter any more lazy parody episodes we will be fine.
