second, western cartoons, unless french, are almost never as seductive as jap cartoons. This isn't a "superrior japaneesu animu!" but a different philosophy to character design and being directed to kids instead to sell merchandise to virgins.
Third it is mostly obvious how, instead of trying to play it either as cute or as fetish fuel/hot, they ususally have to make a fucking political statement with it
Four, every time I complain or critisize gayness in cartoons the only answer I get is a bunch of motherfuckers spamming "go back to /pol/ instead of real discussion, so I rather have it all erased out of spite
