"Hey Luna, Mom wants you to check on..." But before he could finish, she was on the way out the door. "Sorry, gotta see Beezlebub. Later!" she said. "Sigh. Fine, I'll do it myself." Lincoln said, defeated. He trudged his way back up the stairs and then nudged open the door to Lisa's room. She was sound asleep under her E=MC2 blanket. Lincoln smiled slightly and closed the door. That left just Lucy. Lincoln walked across the hallway to her room, tapped gently on the door, and called "Hey Luce, you in there? Mom wanted me to..." but there was no response. He turned the knob and the door slowly opened.
Lucy's room was dead silent with no sign of life anywhere. However, she had a habit of hiding out in strange places and appearing when you least expect it, so this was not at all unusual. "Lucy?" Lincoln called. "Lucy?" There was no response, but Lincoln heard rustling sounds from inside the closet. He walked over to it, pulled the door open, and there his sister was, sitting on the closet floor with a copy of the Necronomicon next to her. "Ahhhh!!! Light! You know how much I hate that!" Lucy yelled in surprise as Lincoln opened the door. "Sorry. Mom just wanted me to check on...wait a minute, you're not channeling Satan again, are you? Mom told you not to do that." Lucy rolled her eyes, or at least Lincoln assumed she did, not that anyone could tell with her eyes buried underneath her bangs. "No, I am not channeling Satan. Now go, the light burns. I need darkness to function optimally." "Yeeesh." Lincoln said as he closed the door.
Back in the closet, Lucy picked up the Necronomicon and began reading. "Ordum. Sanget. Malos. Parthos! Bararthrum! Justin Bieber!!!" she called out.
