Now I don't know how I want Finn to handle romantic relationships; tossing a girl at him at the end of the show would sort of work to show how he's changed, like now he's at the level of where he can handle one without fucking things up, but it feels pretty lazy yeah? Like they're just checking off the boxes, and since it'll happen so late it's not like we'll be able to see him actually interact or spend time with said girlfriend.
On the other hand, him not getting a girl by the end would be more brutally realistic, which does seem to be what AT's going for recently. Just because you're mature doesn't mean you're getting a happy ending because of that, that's not how things work.
But that would be pretty stupid because realistically it should be exceedingly easy for Finn to get a gf, if anything he's his own worst enemy since he always just tunnel visions on a girl and never cares. I mean remember in season 1 where every princess was after him? So it would be pretty stupid if he never finds anyone.
I don't know man, I hope Finn ends up happy in the end, he's certainly earned it.
