Use demon sword, do your 4 hit combo and immediately follow up with fire dash attack by dashing and pressing f. Repeat this combo until the shield shatters. Getting to the shield fast can be done with the fire dash as well.

This game is a time waster, the second eel fight is completely retarderd, Ice queens fight's not even beatable without walking off the edge for invinc frames. Someone just share a save with all the lewds.

eh, I appreciate it. Whoever is doing the actual game coding because I doubt it's actually Mike and the credits zoom too fast for me to bother checking, I hope they do something more solid in the future this game feels like a really smooth PS1 3D action platformer

I actually really like the swordplay part of this. Dashcanceling is super fast, as is block and jump canceling. Makes the combat feel really good for being such a simple system.
Jumping on the other hand feels kinda rough and the knockback for when you take hits is abysmal.

How are you this bad? Its easy as hell.
Also ice queen can easily be done if you get the upgrade to switch weapons during combat and switch to root sword and block and dodge then switch to demon sword and use fire dash.

Fuck this shit. tried to do this after getting good chunk if not everything that can be gotten without it and it didn't work.
Tested backing up my save and then entering the code on fresh file and it worked instantly.

So the code doesn't work at the point where I am.
And I assume no one here has solution, other than wipe and start over.

when you beat the game normally it restarts u at the cave and theres a note that says right left which is hinting to a cheat code

??? sword is in Items while Swords is Demon Blood and 4D. Going to items menu and mouseclicking, enter, etc do nothing and it's impossible to select anything.

This game is actually really fun. Not an AT fan (never got into it) but I like Mike Inel's style. This is a super competent game. Genuinely more fun than a lot of commercial releases I've played lately. Can't beat Ice Queen though.

Really sucks I did everything and then got stuck without the ??? sword due to the glitch once you get the 4D sword (or maybe dual sword upgrade?), I had to manually edit the .dat file to get it.. but hey at least I get to finally pose shit.

If you still lack that skill then I would guess you are still missing the 4D Sword, the spooky world and the final skill.

And completing the spooky world gives you 2 new models to play in the edit mode I think.

As for breaking the force field, I'm pretty sure I got lucky and the game glitched, but after making the field vulnerable I jumped on top of it and used the lightning skill, Fiona got stuck at the force field for a couple seconds and then it shattered. You can try that

I'm guessing that the one you missed is the Hambo one. When you get to Marceline's house, don't go in it. Instead, hug the wall on the other side of the house and try to find your way upwards. Once you do you should find the powerup easily.

I have wondered a lot before, back in the early days of KS, like early within a year of the first announcement, I was somewhat involved with the project. I eventually left because many of the people were so awful, but there was this one guy from the Philipines I talked to a lot and was a good guy, though very depressed.

He was an artist for the game, and so I wonder if that was Mike Inel. I can't remember his handle as this was 9 or so years ago. If not, I hope that other guy ended up doing alright. He was very, very depressed.

Infinite Stamina outside of battle. It's mainly used to fly around using the air-dash or the 4D Sword's teleport function. Also let's you do the same thing in battle but consumes stamina.

you dont spam the lightning attack, you just attack normally

4 hit combo
imediatly after the combo ends, you dash, that resets the combo instantly. This is how you attack without interruption.

the more you attack, the redder the orb gets.

Hopefully the running off the ledge thing gets patched, and the fight made less difficult.

Only until afterwards did figure out that you need the Demon sword to be able to damage her a good amount in her second phase. The fight is not that bad after figuring that out.

I didin't even use the ledge trick.
Infinite air dash makes dodging her stuff pretty trivial.
Also first time I killed her with the block sword because blocking is also op and trivializes her first phase. Works less well in second one.

If you really want to beat Ice Queen but don't want to/can't git gud here's how to cheese the fight:

First do the Flying Fish Princess quest to get the jar so you can hold 5 potions (you don't really need this but you should be getting it anyway and you're already cheesing so you probably need more than 3 cycles anyway). Also get all the other stat boosts like quicker melee, infinidash, etc. Once you have that go do the Ice Queen fight (and if you haven't done the first fight do that too you idiot).

At the start immediately start running off the platform. You take no damage, the only penalty you get is you lose stamina which you don't need for the first part of the fight. Her cycle is basically throw shit (spears, ice walls, whatever), do a slow windmill. then do an ice pillar, then do a fast windmill. After the fast windmill she drops her guard, get's dizzy and walks around for a bit so you can hit her. The path she always takes for this is: Fast twirl from one end of the platform, down to the other, and back.

You should be running off in the middle of the platform so you don't end up too far when she stops twirling and you end up having to run too far and miss part of the cycle. Now she also always ends at one end of the platform and walks back to the center. Once she get's back to the center she crouches and does a blast. So once she is near the center get ready to run to avoid damage. You should also finally have your stamina back so just dash off the platform again.

You do that cycle about 5 times depending on how much damage you manage to do. DO NOT BOTHER USING YOUR POTIONS RIGHT NOW.

Once you get here to about a quarter health left she switches it up and summons an ice pinwheel that runs around and fucks you up. Or it would if you weren't cheesing the fuck outta this fight. Now her cycle is basically the same here except once she finishes the fast twirl she has the ice wheel around her waist and when you try to attack her you take damage.

So now when she finishes her twirl use the potion and go use the thunder strike near her repeatedly (if you have the fast melee) or use the ranged magic attack. After a few second as she walks back to the center the ice wheel leaves and you can just spam attack (attack/dash over and over for faster attacks and do combo cooldown). She still does the bomb in the center so watch you.

So just do that 2/3 more times depending on what method you use/how good you are.

Fight done.

Not when it's flying around. Right after she finishes her fast twirl attack with it the thing stays on her waist and if you just try to attack her with melee you'll run into it and take damage. Unless you're using the root sword (long one).

I can't figure out mega milk.

Left most princess has the first part of the path, Right most has the second. So that's Scientist Princess for left most and engagement ring princess for right most. which is straight left left. But that doesn't work.

I also thought maybe Inel didn't count scientist princess as a real princess so it was PB and ERP so right right left left but that doesn't work either.

What gives?

Actually a pretty good game, if short. The boss battles were easy but reminded me of Kingdom hearts. Hope he adds a boss rush mode to be able to just go back and fight the various bosses. I wanted to try out more Ice Queen strats but once you beat her she's done.

Especially with VR. I just keep rewinding that last extended scene kiss over and over again.

That said. This game is actually super fun. A bit starved on content, but that's not all that surprising. But what is, is that the content that is there is actually really stellar.
I kind of expected this to be a semi-intriguing exploration game, like that first little game from forever ago with previous Marceline model. Before there was any combat or anything.
Point being though, the combat is actually surprisingly solid. No matter if it can be broken or not, it really is quite good. I've played plenty 3d action games that fails at these basic core mechanics even if they were far more vast and expansive games beyond that. But yeah. The game may not have all that much, but what it has is actually good.

Do you know where it is?
Right at the entrance of the Twilight Zone, up to your right above the right side wall. You should be able to see the sword floating beyond the wall.

Now, how to get it. You basically require the infinite dash. Then from the upper level entrance to the Twilight Zone, from the side of Marceline's house. Namely the entrance facing where you initially got the Blood Sword.
Now dash, and just keep dashing. Beyond where the Blood Sword used to be, and when you pass the end of the right side wall you make a turn. And then from outside the borders of the Twilight Zone you make a turn and steer back in and land on the ledge holding the 4D Sword.

So I see it as being maaaaybe a year at the most for it to be totally done, but then again he keeps on adding new shit so who knows, maybe he'll wanna expand it to cover the entire show or something.

Look on the bright side though, since you got in early you can check out all that viewer model porn, so I'd say that makes it worthwhile.

Your movement in general is really good. The game really has that joy of jumping and traversing / dashing through areas.
Just going from point A to point B is fulfilling. Which is really the mark of a great game.

Kind of reminds me of Banjo Kazooie. Not so much the movement itself, but the way it's satisfying.
