And fine, I'll even concede that it's impossible in this day and age to have purely heroic people in our movies, neither the Barton nor Nolan Batmans were purely heroic and Batfleck certainly wasn't, given his lack of concern for property damage and human life. And really, none of the MCU heroes, save perhaps Cap, have gotten to be purely heroic. Even the non MCU Marvel movies have, in Professor X and Spidey, for example, given us heroes who did not have pure heroism in their cinematic display.
So, I'll concede that. But a 2 hour movie, two of them, shouldn't just have a few nifty visuals and a VERY few moments like this and be given a pass for them.
In BvS the few scenes we get of this with Superman are a montage, with the exception of the saving the child/dia de los muertos moment, and again, literally less than 1% of the run time of the movie. I suspect the bathtub scene was on screen longer.
