And that makes perfect sense from Ken's perspective. He was working on that story for over a decade, just let him wrap it up and don't shit on him once it's done. Of course, he takes forever to get to the point and his story isn't even good and he's arguing from a very stupid perspective given this isn't his intellectual property, so fuck 'im.>>107794149
Yeah, kinda. When you read the stuff it seems far more awful than it is because it completely ignores the rest of the comics and gets so weird and out there, but it's honestly just generic and kind of boring. A few years of distance and it's easy to see what he was going for and why.
Ken gets this rap as some kind of fucking evil douchebag by the community because his writing sucks and he was harassing people, but honestly? He's just an internet troll who happens to be a little dense, a bit stubborn about his old passion project, and full of himself. Like, the worst he's done is talk shit about former co-workers, file some sketchy copyrights and engage in a frivolous lawsuit against a giant company to make a point. He didn't even sue Archie, they sued him after he baited them. He's just some dude who sucks at writing and takes the piss on a fanbase that sends him death threats all the time for being a bad writer and kind of a jerk.
He's still a dick online and a bad writer, but he's not malicious or anything. Just basic.
