>>107070685>>107071685>Holdo was written as a female commander who didn’t have to explain her plan to her male subordinates I'm gonna be the devil's advocate for a while.
The reason she didn't explain her plan to anyone except for a select few was because she believed that there was a traitor among the crew. Without knowing who specifically was and without time to conduct an investigation to find out, she did the best thing she could at the moment. Tell the plan only to the ones she trusted and tell the others only the information they needed to do their job.
Now, the reason she didn't tell her plan to poe was because he was demoted for being a shitbag that doesn't follow orders and that he personally killed most of the rebel fighting force at the beginning of the movie. Its a miracle that he was only given a slap in the hand and not thrown into prison or left to die.
>He requested some information on the plan and orders so that he and the other soldiers could be at ease about the situation, she denied him information,At that particular moment that information was out of his reach because he was demoted and it was above his rank. Poe also had a reputation of not giving a shit and disregarding orders, so telling him or not wasn't really gonna make a difference.
