Before this I had no idea underwater settings were something so many people were so interested in. DC tapped into demand no one knew existed. For my part I will say the movie was at its best when they were underwater, it was visually gorgeous, interesting and novel and I understand now why it was such a draw. I hope future films take place underwater as well, I'd be much less interested if it took place on land. Kudos to the effects team for making the movement underwater look good, its long been said that its hard to make characters look good floating/flying but it looked good in this movie.
