The Gang are a bunch of wanabee villains who's schemes always backfire and never catch the attention of the local heroes.
Back in the day, Dr. Mantis Toboggan was a major crime lord and solid B-list supervillian. Now Frank's mostly retired and just hangs out with his shitty kids for fun.
Barbara Reynolds was a mad scientist obsessed with creating the perfect man, one shining being to rule above everyone else. Unfortunate, she had twins. Dennis was groomed to be the Golden God since birth. He thinks very highly of himself in terms of looks, especially when he turns his body into gold. He also has the ability to manipulate people into doing what he wants, but it doesn't always work. Think Purple Man, but way shittier.
Dee is the Aluminum Monster, an insult that she insists has been reclaimed (it hasn't). Like Dennis, Dee can turn herself to metal, and she's actually pretty strong in that form. However, a lifetime of emotional abuse from her mother means that she's very self-conscious about her powers, and hardly ever uses them, preferring to get by on "feminine wiles".
Mac calls himself Avenging Angel, and insists that he's so badass that God himself gave him awesome powers and kick-ass karate skills. This is not true in the least, but whether Mac actually believes his own story is always up for debate.
Charlie, King of the Rats, is a mutant with the ability to communicate with animals, though he mostly only talks to the rats in the bar/lair. He's actually omega-level, and has the potential to be a major reality warper, but as the brunt of his power is subconscious, this is completely unknown. Sometimes he'll get really high and go out as the superhero Green Man, but he never remembers the next morning.
