nah, any true power would absorb all those trinkets into his very being, not leave them lying around for some halfling to throw into a volcano
all he would really need is a nice seat on a hill somewhere looking down at his conquered lands, throwing fire and bolts at anyone who annoyed him; and you can buy pretty decent thrones from ikea
