In all fairness the concept of a rainbow butterfly unicorn kitten is not new, as the show seems to be based on a meme from at least 2011. Unikitty isnt even half rainbow or butterfly, and it just seems to be a coincidence that both shows were produced around the same time.

At least put one percent of effort. Spongebob Squarepants is better than just calling him Yellow Sponge Square Pants. Or BoJack Horseman instead of HorseHead ManLegs.

There's a clip on the Nick app. It has a stupid fart joke at the end, but the cutaway gag with Felicity reading the newspaper got a small chuckle out of me.
