>>104714077I remember watching Drawn Together. I thought it could be awfully try-hard at times, but man, when it hit the mark, it hit the mark. Some gags you would see coming a mile away, and some would subvert so hard, or just come out of absolutely nowhere that they'd get you. Unlike what happened to South Park, nobody was innocent, and everybody was a target.
I do miss shows like that, but there is no possible way they'd happen now. Not only because of the constant desperate search to be offended that some people are on, but because I think standards have gotten so low that nobody could put together a competent enough writing staff.
