I hate that we never get to see Jason as Robin in anything modern. Even Arkham Knight had a chance for a Batgirl DLC with Jason as the supporting partner and blew that for more Tim/Babs shit.

That's why I hope he gets well received by the audience and last in the Robin role for a few more than season 2, honestly. We will eventually get a Red Hood series,I'm sure of it. But I wishwe get more new original Robin Jason stories from the tv series in the meantime. Even if Dick is the main lead. Some Jason and Donna or Jason and Ravenor, why not, anyother sidekickor titan you want to drop in. Like Devil Kid. Or thow in Jason lood for example for adding some more magic elements. I would prefer a girl, though.

Wasn't the whole point of Jason Todd was to have a Robin that can be killed off?

I mean, he had the shortest run out of all the mainline Robins. Even Tim's tenure was twice as long as Jason's.

Jason Todd is the gwen stacy of robins. Out of all their contemporaries the only thing interesting about them is that they died. Despite what ever revival you give them. What ever cool out fit or story line you put them in nothing will change the fact that people wanted them dead the first go around. Not because they were unlikable but because they were boring.

I mean Jason's death was mostly a big turning point for Bruce right? Since the show focuses on the Titans there's no real reason to kill him off. I guess they could explore Dick's reaction but it wouldn't be the same.

in MANY ways his death made him the unique Robin he is today. It opened up a much darker path to the usual Robin schema that for sure set him apart from the others. If he didn't die in the comics way back, then we probably wouldn't see much of the gritty shit we see now.
