Are true spies even relevant any more?
The Iron Curtain fell decades ago.
Sure there are still secrets, but it's not a massive bloc of countries that we have to use U-2s and espionage to learn the simplest facts.
Spies as portrayed in media now are just well dressed action heroes.
Real spies blend in.
I get that a kid's movie isn't going to depict a man living under a false name for 2 years to track and log ships at night on the Caspian Sea.
But why use the word spy at all if you're just going to give us something so unrelated to the actual profession?
