Nova Prime is in the Thor/Gladiator/Wonder Man/Hyperion level of top tier flying brick with a weird assortment of gravity based shooting and forcefield powers for whatever occasion.
New recruit Novas are 1 ton strength, can't fly, not super durable at all
Most of the other powers are in the suits or helmets and controlled by either the world mind, or whatever main conputer thing they have in control at that time. Things like forcefields, faster than light travel, breathing in space, all that is technology.
