You could literally cut up any other episode of Family Guy and make a whole episode out of it. The amount of cut aways are retarded. Why do they rely on cutaway humor at this point? IMO the best eps are the Brian and Stewie eps. "Brian and Stew travel the multiverse"

my favourite stewie episode was a really early one where he tried to make a weather machine to make it perpetually cold so he didn't have to eat broccoli, i think it sums up his character in a nice way
it was bound to happen but I dont really like how he's gotten less naive over the years

They actually tried to do this. There was an entire series of internet shorts made of rejected family guy cutaways.

There's nothing wrong with cut away gags. The problem is the writers don't give a shit half the time and like the last five seasons they've had characters straight up explain the joke in a deadpan voice trying to pass that off as the joke itself. Fuck there's one episode where they got so god damned lazy they showed you the script of a planned cutaway pretending it's a joke about how Americans don't read enough.
