It's mostly just 'dimension he can move in and out of' and also something he can use to create projections. Even back when he was written as being able to do whatever with his mirrors he was pretty much written to be as weak or strong as the story needed him to be.

Why not? Aren't we assuming that all the Rogues grow up and live in Marvel? Even if they come over from some dimensional gate or whatever there's no indication they'd just start killing people or whatever. They wouldn't know what sort of threats exist in Marvel.
