That's what I can't stand about people, and sometimes it's not just women, but men who "force" women to get abortions. I had a roommate do that to a girl whose virginity he took, and not only did he not show up for moral support when the abortion happened, he thought a $300 ring (the same cost as the abortion) somehow rectified not being there.

If you don't want a baby, don't have sex. It's not that difficult of a concept.

That's because abortion isn't about "abandoning a child". Why can't men get that? Why paint abortion in such a light? When you have an abortion there is no child to abandon. A woman who has ten abortions changes nothing while a men who has ten financial abortions abandons 20+ people who are likely to end up in poverty. Abortion is only about bodily autonomy. An abortion is a medical procedure and it is unethical to pressure someone into a medical procedure they don't want. The whole point of bodily autonomy is that you decide what happens to you body and giving men financial leverage over women would be highly unethical.

Financial abortion is basically saying that women should only get abortion when men want them to and not when they don't. It is literally the opposite of what abortion law intends. It punishes women for not having an abortion when the guy wanted her to have one. It's like guys forget that having the baby is the normal natural thing to do.

Abortion isn't female privilege not being pregnant is male privilege.

That's the thing no one would do this. Women will always carry some responsibility for pregnancy. The idea of even one abortion or pregnancy freaks me the fuck out because both are horrible. But men can impregnate a whole lot of women in a short amount of time. The fact you can make an argument like this shows you're not even trying to understand it from the other side's point of view-- you got it completely wrong. The idea is that if women want free (as in liberty) abortion to get rid of an unwanted kid, men should get the free right to financially abandon them. I don't necessarily agree with this, but surely you can understand how the thinking goes-- if women get an easy escape clause, so should men.

It's not about controlling YOU-- So many leftist positions make such stupid emotionally driven claims about things like this and it's apalling. It's about reclaiming personal control.

Seriously though, of course it's the woman's choice because it's her body that'll have to go through the pregnancy and childbirth. Bodily autonomy and all that. Fuck, even dead people get to have it, if they didn't give permission for their organs to be donated to people in need while they were alive, it's not okay to take their kidneys or whatever. So obviously a living person has to have the right to decide whether or not they'll carry a parasitic new lifeform that'll mangle their body in its way out and give birth in a painful ordeal that might result in them needing surgery, fuck.

Whereas for men it's different: if a child that's yours appears in the world, you're expected to participate in the expenses of taking care of it.

No, it's because a fetus or embryo at the time when abortions are done is not a person or a child because the internal organs or the central nervous system aren't there and functioning yet. It's not a person, there's no concept of self, not even on an animal level. There's no "choice" it could make, no "rights" that this cluster of cells could have that'd somehow override the right of bodily autonomy of the host female, who does have functioning organs, awareness, a sense of self, the ability to individually sustain themselves, personhood and human rights.

But sure since it's the woman's body where the fetus will grow, she's the one who'll have to carry the pregnancy to term, go on maternity leave which means lowered income, and give birth which is a huge ordeal, she and only she has the choice. Well, in reality women often consult with the men who knocked them up, but ultimately it's their body, their choice, it's the only way it can be.

And pregnancy isn't a choice. If a guy came inside you than you'll get pregnant. From that point on pregnancy is a medical issue. A woman can't "choose" not to be pregnant without medical intervention. Abortion is a medical procedure. If you knew how the law works, you'd know that the exact situation I've described is exactly what happens. Pet accidents, automobile accidents, people getting beaten in street fights,etc. Outside of stste issued criminal punishment and jail time, nobody can force payment by another party if they dont have the means to pay and/or you cant prove they have the means to pay. This is why people currently push for laws that force everyone to get insurance for many different (and likely unnecessary) things. You really don't know that, seeing how animals in Zootopia work differently than humans.

What it's possible to argue, from the comic, is that hybrids already existed but they were rare and made between prey/prey or pred/pred relations. From the page it's possible to see that they were healthy and not deformed.

While the argument of Judy being smaller could mean trouble, if the baby took the form of bunny as the main characteristic and fox as secundary it would go fine.

As for dying, seeing how Judy risked her life to patch predator and prey relations, it's very stiffling she wants to kill what could be the first prey/pred hybrid treating it as a curse instead of a miracle.

Just to be clear I'm not against abortion entirely, but I'm against the attempted celebration 4th wave feminism is trying to make it. So a solution to stop the mass illegal hunting is to create and regulate a market for legal hunting.

The species who will never get extinct are exactly those who have economic incentives: cows, pigs, chickens, etc. Those will never get extincted by human influence and they will also be protected if somehow endangered.
