Just because she was present on Earth doesn't mean she would interact with the local organics. The few times she personally visited the planet she would be surrounded by her court 24/7. She probably had a very similar view of organic life as Yellow at this point, she's too above them to think they would be of any use. Blue isn't maintaining the Zoo, her Agate and the Famethyst are. I'd think she pretty much only stays in Pink's room and cries all day while visiting the Zoo.

She's even surprised by Greg's emotional range.

I have enough triuble trying to figure out how or why gems can speak english. Did they speak it first in this universe and taught it to humans, or do they have some kinda babel fish ability?

Why didn't Lapis, Peridot, and Jasper all show up in one of the Ruby ships? Its smaller and does a better job at transporting the laboring grunts. Especially seeing as it was only a crew of 3 people. Which when given the fact that the Hand Ships are giant and can fit alot of Gems, wouldn't it make sense to give them one of Ruby Ships instead? Seems more appropriate seeing as that ship could run fine with just 1 pilot

Peridot's "alien words" were just Zuke copying Homestuck, something she did all the time. Peridot's twitter read exactly like Karkat, all caps and everything, and when she wasn't channeling Karkat, she was channeling Caliborn. Even put Caliborn's red bowtie on her for an episode.

This is my biggest fear for the show's direction right now.
I mean I get that they're "family" now, and I get that this show wants every character to be sympathetic, but there's got to a critical point at which someone is no longer forgivable. And the Homeworld Authority is so out there in terms of callous destruction it has got to be way past that point.

Thinking that she never visited the Zoo when the humans were litterally right after her is very forced, plus the fact she only visited "pink room" because it was important to her just like the humans in the colony

It was stated that humans in the Zoo were not used to feel sadness at all in any way, they were all confused by a single negative answer from Gregg, that's why she thought that they could understand negative emotions.

She may have observed them, but mingle with them? No way. First off the Zoo was built for Pink's size, she couldn't fit. And secondly I feel like Agate would have a higher regard for the humans if her Diamond thought they were worth talking to. Blue had a low regard for humans. This show is terrible with consistency on how alien they behave.
The whole not knowing 'my' is a possesive pronoun thing from aquamarine for example when they all constantly use and understand that word in every other context, even in that same episode when she mentioned 'my memory.'

Steven shows them all the corrupted gems. This causes them to see the error of their ways, and they decide to uncorrupt them all. But doing so causes the diamonds themselves to become corrupted. Now the CG's and all the newly fixed gems have to fight them and try to return them to normal while WD comes and fucks shit up for them

I don't think it's that feet don't look like that (most times) I think it's the nature of cartoons. Characters just get uglier and uglier the more lines you add. Even if they're normal lines like a slight line under the eye makes a character look exhausted or an addict or sick or something. Every line makes them look worse, so trying to do all the real lines on a foot makes them look pruney and gross.

the biggest continuity error in SVTFOE is probably the value of the magical royal artifacts. The Wand is both an incredibly powerful magical artifact, and an object that essentially runs on batteries which can be found in a superstore. The Book of Spells is both irreplaceable and also completely replaceable.

There are others but the Wand and Book of Spells probably stick out the most since a good portion of the plot revolve around them.

In terms of writing out a fight in which an AOE ability is used in the manner it was in this case, you wouldn't draw attention to it not affecting a character if that was only a fluke in such a manner. You'd have the character take note and move on with the scene without making any cuts, rather than having it close in on them reacting to the realization that they were unaffected as that is a common way to point out the significance of an event.

So take your pick; it's either inconsistent, or bad scene writing.

Gem societies culture has to come from somewhere, it has to begin with something. Every gem, even the diamonds so far, are capable of respecting life and recognizing it's value. They don't have to be convinced that it's good, it's goodness is apparent, they just have to be shaken out of the pre-existing cultural viewpoint.

My point is, if the value of life is apparent, why then do the gems as a whole society view it as worthless? It must be because their leader does, it must be because they are told what to think of life before they encounter it, so they don't think twice. White Diamond being heartless and cold fits so well for this.

The wand's more of a problem in that there's an implication that there's more than one wand, ex. Ludo thinking he's just found A wand and not believing it was Star's, but then everyone's insistence on getting Star's wand maybe implies that's the most powerful/usable. But the fact that's not confirmed one way or the other kind of makes the logic seem flimsy if you think about it in any way beyond surface level
