Honestly I'm assuming it's set in one of the diverging timelines that got brought about during the xindi war because of the temporal cold war shenanigans.>5. If the Orville was an official Star Trek show, would you have enjoyed it?
Yes. Honestly feels like it could be set between TOS and TNG.
