>>4005755I am still baffled at the direction Togashi chose to take after the Election arc. Really, he just needs to resolve Kurapika, Hisoka, and the Spiders in order to close out the series. Yes, this current arc does seem like it will ultimately do that. But holy fuck is this the most circuitous method to achieve those narrative ends. The boat and all the factions on it are a total clusterfuck clearly done so Togashi stays invested, but he has clearly bit off more than he can chew. His release schedule is just too tenuous to support this convoluted mess. It is truly a selfmade hell that he seems intent to die over. It will take a miracle for HxH to actually achieve a real ending at this rate.
