SSDs use Flash Memory for "storage".
When the word storage is used, I personally think of old style hard disk drives (although I appreciate the term storage covers a lot of ground). HDD is not recommended because of how many gigabytes of information is required to be moved between Vram/Ram/SSD on a regular basis. It will slow you down like crazy if an HDD in involved.
But anyway, I meant you will need hundreds of gigs of storage space, not Ram/VRam.
