>>2571560because most artists that draw that are gay/bi men. not saying there aren't gay/bi men that draw more "bishie" stuff but bara is just the "norm," for lack of a better word, because so many artists now have a style that was inspired directly or indirectly by artists from the 80's and 90's like Tagame, and the trend continues with so many popular artists right now having that kind of style: bigger and more muscular men. And that's not even taking into consideration that the gay male community seems to prefer men like that (obviously I'm generalizing) and some artists draw what they fantasize about. Maybe there are other factors but that's what I can think of rn
