The root of my comic book is very French Belgian - european classic comic books, which often have clean ink lines, and also use ink to draw texture. I'm glad you like this style, cause I didn't always draw in this style. It's still a fairly new style for me and I still need time to make it better.
As for the body type variety in gay erotic comic books, it's a subject that can be discussed over and over again. Me as an independent comic book artist, I can only portray my vision of the story, it's not easy to build a world and at the same time take the social responsibility to portray all the aesthetic types in gay community.
Besides, the characters in "Totem War" might look pretty, but if you read the story, you will see that they are pretty messed up in their lives. Take the protagonist "Marcel" for example, he's bored with his work and his life in general, he made bad encounters and he's obsessed with his ex-boyfriend who's married. Therefore, the looks ain't everything in my comic book. Of course, on the book cover, I draw them to be perfectly handsome men, but the story give them the depth that one usually can't see judging from the cover.
