Actually, mind if we have another tierlist thread? According to the archive, it's been one year since the last one, and I'm curios what it would look like now.

I've been reading Please Save My Earth.. It's incredible how the author has a bunch of scenes where a character talks about how degenerate same sex attraction but apparently all of pedo shit is much more normal

PSME has a bunch of bait shit, it's also the most 80' shit ever when it comes to ending gay plot-lines.

It's one of the my favorite manga and it influenced a lot of my tastes (Sci-fi + reincarnation are some of my favorite tropes), but it's a product of its time.

Shion died after experiencing a living hell, I wouldn't say he got away with everything? Rin isn't exactly him. Overall I didn't have any issue with the ending except Issei's.

I heard the author wrote a bunch of sequels, but they appear to be awful and her art style degraded. They are probably even less /y/ related than the original PSME, which at least has that one gay plotline. But anyway, it's a pretty '80s manga, the way it writes gay shit feels very much in line with the time period.

I'd say the theme of the story is that Shion's sins shouldn't be Rin's sins, who should have been just an innocent kid. I don't remember being interested in the love triangle (I was much more interested into how Issei and Jinpachi story was going to end kek), but keep in mind I read this thing like 10 years ago now. I don't remember much except finding the weird mix of magic and sci-fi very cool and the reincarnation theme very interesting.

Right, but I think "I'm gay because I was woman into another life and now that I got rid of these feelings and I'm no longer gay" feels like a very specific 80 trope to me.

I never got into Hagio Moto's stuff, I liked A,A but Marginal was honestly one of the dumbest things I've read. Also this manga reminds me of this weird shoujo with BL tones about space mermaids where they turned into girls and shit.
