No, just fans stuff and doujins. Vanillaware barely releases anything for this game, just two anthologies and some databook. There are a lot of them though, canon homo + vague details + very much into each other means you can go crazy with your fantasies. Also age gap and experience lover/very enthusiastic younger lover very are patrician tropes.

>At the end of the day it was one of the best written gay game romances even with all its flaws and the epilogue which erased some of the character development. We also weren't samurai flamenco'd, the staff was supportive and the characters in question have some merch. Although I do wish Okino had more. So despite my complains, I do love them together.
Personally the fact that it's 100% canon homo makes me overlook some flaws, getting it into a JP videogame where the dudes don't die or are evil or it's one sided is super incredibly rare. It still hard to believe it actually happened. Also the fact they'll grew up into their 2188 designs makes it x10 better.

Haiki and kemukemuke aren't the same artist, right? They both draw realsitic pubic hair, but the faces are different.

I prefer the mangaka's other works like I Can Say "I Love You" or My Home Your One Room. UIMMH is based on a novel apparently, but there are only two volumes so it feels like a bunch of big events are rushed due to page constraints. Very jarring when there are many chapters where it's just a few pages between MC feeling happy and finding out that happiness isn't gonna last.

It's based on an autobiographical essay by a gay rights activist who had the first gay marriage in Japan and the manga is a single volume. You don't know what you're talking about. Pretty sure this info is all in the pastebin.

Not Samejima, this looks to be a spinoff (the author has a number of books around the same characters) - Shinjo-kun to Sasahara-kun.
Picrel's from mangago (which only has chapter 1) but baka says both volumes are fully translated. I wish mangaupdates didn't let secret groups change the status of scanlations if they're not gonna reveal who they are.

I'm pretty sure the translator vanished into thin air after some issues with doing scans for money. There's one chapter left of the title story, a short and kind of boring incest, and the rest was Minasoko ni sumu kodomotachi that was translated by someone else.

Yeah, they're different. kemukemuke has drawn some borderline shota characters and, despite their similarities in style, tends to stick more closely to the geicomi aesthetic of, round, boyish faces. Haiki, on the other hand, seems to be drifting closer to art styles and stories more common in BL, to the point where he's even started to publish omegaverse.

SuBLime better bring SHOOWA or Okujima to one of these someday. Don't know if she'd be up for it, but I think he'd enjoy himself. I'm guessing they'll aim for Ike Reibun next though, which would be great too.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon Marukido Maki. The BLCDs are stellar and so is the manga. But the live action is something else. How they managed to get the “mood indigo” look and feel down pat, I’ll never know. Kijima’s actor is the best of the lot, followed by Kido’s. Kuzumi.. took a bit of getting used to. I’ve not watched Playback yet but I’ll eventually catch it. The Playback volume was the weakest of the lot imho. Still, I’m glad they wrapped up the story nicely.

I also went on a live action binge.
Cherry Magic - cute but am I really supposed to believe the virgin lead was 30? He barely looked 18. Wish the cute dancer and megane author got a season too.
Ossan’s Love - Lead was kind of annoying with how dense he was but Maki and Shachou were splendid. Haven’t watched the movie and the airplane season yet.
Hana wa Saku ka - the setting was beautiful but the movie felt really rushed. Maybe it’s one of those things that could have been a 12 episode drama.
Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese - I adored the manga almost 10 years ago. I still love it now. To see a live action is incredible. Another movie with amazing look and feel. Japan looks so damn good in these.
Fujoshi Ukkari - I’ll no longer say Japanese live action shows are wooden. Though, I did look at spoilers and it’s a bit too heavy for my tastes.

So far I’ve stuck to Japanese BL but maybe I’ll move on to Korean and Chinese.
