1. It's easy
2. It's safe, realistic and no matter how many demon horns or tattoos or tails are tacked onto them the readers can either relate or project their crush onto them
3. Many fags irl look like this anyway
4. Many bara characters look like this in games and anime anyway, giving readers another chance to vaguely pretend it's their fictional crush
5. Some people have a type and this is just how it is
