Personally I find faceless insert guys creepy (plus their being a more overt stand-in for the viewer) and the headless/floating body parts dynamic boring.
Additionally, SV IS a game where your character marries a canon character, so OC x canon is kind of the point of the game? I agree that there are levels of self-insert that can get to be uncomfortable but current art-friend's farmer is cute and the art is good, so?
You're welcome to your own opinion of course. Different preferences. Regardless, it's nice to see art in this thread again considering complaining about the free and mostly really good art pretty much killed the thread before.
