Like, this sort of trope can be done well and I wouldn't have minded some Jack and Ashi lovin' if she was allowed to be a person and not just Jack's satellite and if they'd done anything at all to build up a relationship between these two, but the way it's been done just...jesus. This is the shittiest reward for a hero I think I've ever seen. He has more real, believable chemistry with AKU for christ's sake! Sigh. We'll always have seasons 1-4.
