Including all factors associated with it (curriculum, accessibility, price, etc...)

Grades 1 through 4 remain similar to how they are now. A survey of different topics. Kids lock into a soft focus by 5th grade (e.g. STEM/humanities). By 9th grade, they're locked into a hard focus (history, chemistry, law, math, etc.)

The kids are given 4chan (they can't post obviously) and are allowed to browse any boards they like.
Depending on which boards that they end up browsing the most they get different resources to study the topic related to the board. Of course kids are allowed to browse multiple boards and they get resources for all of the boards they browse.

When they turn 18 they become able to post.

It's a long term project, but it is the only thing that can improve this site.

Focus it more on a free form bounty system where the kids can learn what they choose based on self interest. Let them be free to pair up and post questions, even looking to each other to learn in a different manner. The teacher can serve as more of a guide or resource more so than a direct instructor.

during elementary school, kids will learn the basic operations of all subjects. standard and similiar to now. not to change much; arguably, it doesn't matter if the kids like it or not at this stage. they need to know what boring is like first. they are focusing on learning how to socialize anyway.

middle school: core subjects will be required to study, however at varying lengths depending on the student's proposed curiosity.
essentially current university model Lite
- difficulty of classes in a grade will remain equal and no accelerated courses will be offered unless it is an independent 'gifted' program.
is a critical modification. it will drastically impact the following:

highschool: students feel motivated and less confused as they do heading in.
Gymnasium/vocational highschool system will improve. distribution of jobs will increase as a result of destressing university entrance.
less stress on a given student.

tldr: changing middle school to a accommodated uni-based system would have mental conseqeunces

Home ec and making a monthly budget are important in my book. Things like sewing and practical repair skills would be nice as well. Preferably in middle school.

I also think high schoolers should have to do an internship of working on a farm, customer service, or the military. All paid, of course.
