How is aspd treated in the west and how effective is it usually? Most online materials I have found is pretty nonspecific and seem to imply either that nobody gives a fuck or it never works.

in the US we don't really offer mental health services unless you're rich or a criminal

The idea psychopath and sociopath refer to two different sets of characteristics is bullsht.
The only reason for the two different words is that which word you use gives an indication for whether you believe the personality is the result of biology primarily (psychopath) or environmental factors primarily (sociopath).
