Yes, but what exactly is it? These cant be washed with soap or water or soap water. So it must be some chemical composite thats at the bottom of the bottle.

Very thin straw to suck out the water, leaving just the solids to crystalize.

Or you could boil off the water in a pyrex beaker. Either way.

Informative. I’m mostly just interested in doing this as a means of storing the urine without all the water, so I may just try simple evaporation. My understanding was that it would evaporate off the nitrogen, but it looks like that doesn’t occur here - though he did mention his yields were quite low.

you wouldn't extract things in elemental form typically. Most of your nitrogen would come from urea, potassium would be in some sort of salt etc. You would need thousands of liters to get a few grams of this shit, urine is mostly water.

There are several grams of solids just within a few liters of urine. The only thing you might need thousands for would be phosphorous. The goal here, however, is just to dry out the materials so I’m not storing water. Getting rid of the smell would be ideal, too.

If you want to use your piss as fertilizer then stir in watermelon seeds. They contain an enzyme which converts the ammonia in the piss to nitrates. It's called "anthroponics"

I use urine on my roses. First a 4 l can of urine and then a bucket of water to chase it down. My roses are flowering well into December.

Dont boil pee. Dry it with vacuum or as a faster alternative do ultra fast drying by spraying a pee mist against a warm glass plate, say at 60 degrees, this lets the droplets to dry very fast without searing heat, then scrape the powder
