There’s a difference between ageing and just treating your body like absolute shit and trying to curb your self destructive habits with snake oils instead of just exercising sleeping and eating well. You’d be amazed by how many people on this planet in their 40s and 50s still look like there 20 and most of them aren’t from the west where you can expect the average civilian to be drugged up and stressed all of the time

Just treat your body right dumbfuck and it’ll take care of itself

A healthy life style is a given, I wouldn't expect a drug to be able to counter the negative impacts of an unhealthy life. My OP question really was if these other things help on top of a healthy lifestyle, perhaps I should have specified but "be healthy" is such cliché advice I didn't see a need to mention it.

They don't. David Sinclair is a hack. But there's a cure for old age right now, it consists of activating your yamanaka factors. But Sinclair's pills have been proved safe (albeit ineffective) and activating your Yamanaka factors still hasn't.

Under the assumption that medicine for those diseases become accessible humans would become one of the longest living eukaryotic life
But no no amount of snake oil drugs is saving you from the effects of disease and old age weakness if your lifestyle is shit

Imagine being an anti-aging/immortality mega-coper only to find out that 50 that your heart is failing due to your technobugman lifestyle, that your condition is untreatable and that you're dying. David Sinclair is a knowledgeable scientist but also disingenuous because of the failure to replicate the resveratrol experiment. People are getting sick on wine because of the journals that put out articles saying resveratrol extends life. Resveratrol might have life extension or benefits but nobody knows…there are better compounds that are being studied now.
