The points don't give the line length. A line is defined as the (uncountably infinite) set of all points that satisfy a given linear equation. Moreover, the length of a line segment is simply the distance between the endpoints, and the "size" of the points that make it up is irrelevant.

The simple answer is that the smallest scale possible is "Planck scale." There is no reason to operate with anything smaller than it as there isn't anything there according to modern science. So does a point have 0 radius/length? I think not. A point has radius of about $10^{-35}$ meters. Hence in any line of length $L$ , there are about $L*10^{-35}$ points in the line.

You zoom in all the way. You have two independent points. Zooming in all the way preserves everything unless you can think of a reason why that line is not continuous and linear.

Each point has a line segment associated with it of the fastest path to the next point. That line segment disappears first before continuous linear points disappear.
