I'm probably not the most qualified person to talk about it, but assuming you can't reach another star system using space contraction without time dilation, and you can't fuck with space in general relativity without fucking time as well (planets are acting like time machines), doesn't that mean we can't use Faster-Than-Light travel as we see in sci-fi movies?

Sure, we can still use time dilation to reach alpha centaury in days assuming we can harvest a FUCKTON of energy to accellerate (and decelerate), but we can't enstablish a constant transport and communication system between stars, a controlled interstellar colonization or empire would be impossible.
