>>14129850Doesn't work like that, the only people dying from antibiotic resistance are people who are immunosuppressed and sick for other reasons that they keep getting infected by the same bug again and again which eventually leads to them being colonised which predisposes to antibiotic resistance. Antibiotic resistant bugs don't kill those people, its whatever background condition that they had that predisposed them to chronic infection that killed them (cancer, IV drug use, homosexuality, diabetes etc.).
Random people rarely get infected with something like MRSA or whatever latest superbug is out there just by chance. There is something underlying it usually.
